With the current situation in India on molestation of women and kids, my expression below. The first few lines talk about people and celebrities coming out only for specific incidences and are silent on many. Rather in hindsight all the incidents should be treated equally and with the same vitality.  To bring some change, the work towards up-liftment of the society  is a constant one albeit not an easy one. It’s a hardship that as individuals and as a society we need to go through. But if done with zeal and passion, can be achieved. The society will be self disciplined then.

कह दो इन जुगनुओ से
रात में न चमका करें
ये चाँद रौशनी का
मोहताज़ नहीं है

दिन में निकलो कभी
धूप में साया करो ख़ुद को
पिघलते काजल सा
ज़रा ज़ाया करो ख़ुद को

देखो फिर
हर उन्नाव में कुमुद होगा
हर कठुआ में ज्योति
चमकेगा हर धूप का चाँद भी
हर साये को ना अवि की जरुरत होगी
